Growing Kindness Through Flowers and Community
Every bouquet helps grow more than flowers. When you purchase hyper local, volunteer-grown flowers through Kind Hearts Bloom, you support our community programs.
From neighborhood gardens to free kindness bouquets, we’re spreading beauty, care, and connection across Grand Rapids
Our Mission
Kind Hearts Bloom fosters community connection and well-being by empowering neighbors to grow and share flowers and food. Through collaborative gardening initiatives, we aim to cultivate joy, kindness, and meaningful relationships while enhancing the natural beauty and biodiversity of our neighborhoods.
Our Programs
Grow & Give
Grow & Give empowers neighbors to grow and share flowers, herbs, and vegetables, creating beauty, nourishment, and connection. With support, plant starts, and simple guidance, we make it easy to grow and give at any level.
Neighborhood Blooms
The Neighborhood Blooms Yard Share Program transforms underutilized yards into vibrant flower gardens. Homeowners donate space, and volunteers plant, tend, and harvest specialty cut flowers to support our mission.
Community Roots Gardens
Community Roots Gardens help neighbors transform front and side yards into vibrant, community-centered spaces that feed both people and pollinators. Grand Rapids residents can apply to join the first cohort of gardens September 1 -October 6, 2025.
